Clifford joined Mpact as an Independent Non-executive Director in September 2025. He is a Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Engineering Council of South Africa. He currently serves as the Chair of Energy Partners Holdings Proprietary Limited and as a Non-executive Director of Growthpoint Properties Limited, where he is a member of the Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee, the Property and Investments Committee, and Chair of the Risk Committee. He has previously served as a Director of several companies, including the boards of South African Breweries Proprietary Limited, Adcock Ingram Holdings Proprietary Limited, Nampak Limited, and Murray & Roberts Holdings Limited.
