In line with the Group’s approach to improving upon and managing a sustainable business, the risk assessment process follows a “bottomup” approach. Each division maintains registers of strategic risks relevant to their business. These risks are aggregated into a Group Risk Register that is reviewed quarterly by the Risk Management Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee. Key risks are also reported to the Social and Ethics Committee of the Board. The Group Risk and Sustainability Manager, Neil Hunt, has overall responsibility for overseeing this process. External audits of these processes also take place routinely.
